This Christmas, CBF North Carolina is partnering with CBF Field Personnel Scarlette Jasper and Olive Branch Ministries in Kentucky to provide Christmas boxes for children and teenagers in Appalachian communities experiencing significant economic hardship. In her work, Scarlette, coordinates with local school systems to identify families most in need. Last year, the ministry distributed more than 4,000 boxes!
CBFNC congregations, ministries and individuals are invited to pack boxes and deliver them to one of three collection sites across North Carolina. Please follow the Christmas Box Packing Instructions for the appropriate age group and deliver completed boxes by November 1.
Collection Sites:
- Eastern NC: Oakmont Baptist Church, Greenville | Contact Alicia Porterfield
- Central NC: CBFNC Office, Winston-Salem | Contact Amy Gallaher
- Western NC: Mars Hill Baptist Church, Mars Hill | Contact Wanda Kidd
Please confirm that your collection site is open before dropping off your boxes.
Together, we can serve alongside our ministry partners in Appalachia and share the joy of Christmas with children and teenagers throughout the region.
