The annual CBFNC Fall Youth Beach Retreat will return to Fort Caswell in Oak Island the weekend of October 2-4, 2026. All CBFNC partner churches are invited to bring your youth (grades 6-12) for a weekend filled with worship, Bible study, dance party and lots of free time on the beach!

This year’s theme is “I’m Still Standing” using Genesis 50:20 as our guiding verse for the weekend:

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

Bible Study Fellowship

We will create mixed small groups for Friday and Saturday Bible studies. The Sunday morning closing Bible study will be divided into church groups. You will receive the group assignments the week leading into the retreat.

Jr./Sr. Fellowship

On Saturday night, there will be a special gathering for juniors and seniors after the dance party sponsored by Cooperative Baptist Student Fellowship. Campus ministers will be on hand to share ways the students can continue in their faith journey when they go off to college. More information will be shared during the retreat.

Housing & Registration

Housing options for your group this year include:

  • Residences: Atlantic, Live Oak, Sea Oats, Long Bay, Pelican, Seagull
  • Barracks: Girls barracks, Guys barracks
  • Cottages: Ginkgo, Paradise, Sandpiper, Yaupon

The per-person cost is $150 for barracks, $170 for cottage or residence buildings. All lodging assignments will be based on group size and on a first come, first serve basis. For more information on the specific lodging types, you can go to this link.

You can register with a group deposit of $500, which will be applied to the final balance. The registration deadline is September 18, along with a final participant list.
