Equipping Hispanic/Latino churches as a Healing Community in CBFNC
The training will offer:
(1) A practical framework for examining histories of pain and trauma; (2) a pedagogical framework to help improve emotional and cognitive skills to respond to traumatized or bereaved people in a healthy way; and (3) a contextual framework to expand knowledge, incorporating biblical narratives with theories and intervention models related to trauma and grief. Best practices for processing pain and trauma within the Hispanic/Latino context will be taught.
Each participant will receive two free consultation texts related to the topic: “Crisis, Loss and Consolation in the Family” and “Manual of Pastoral Psychology: Foundations and Principles.”
The training is FREE! Space is limited!
