CBFNC’s Helping Pastors Thrive ministry invites all pastors and staff ministers to gather for a workshop retreat on Practicing Trauma-Informed Pastoral Care. During the retreat, participants will explore the latest insights about trauma-informed care by drawing from developments in neuropsychology, counseling and theology. It will be led by The Rev. A minister and a psychologist, McClintock is the author of “Trauma-Informed Pastoral Care,” “How to Respond When Things Fall Apart” (Fortress Press, 2022), and “When Trauma Wounds: Pathways to Healing and Hope” (Fortress, 2019).
Check-in will be from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 18th. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The retreat will end following lunch at noon on Tuesday, May 20th. $100 per person; $150 per couple (includes lodging and meals.)
