Welcome Ride is returning this year to raise awareness and funds for CBF of North Carolina’s missions program, Welcome House Community Network (WHCN). The emerging network seeks to extend Christian hospitality in the form of temporary housing and community outreach to vulnerable people in every NC city and town.  

Over a seven-day period, October 1–7, 2023, CBFNC Executive Coordinator Larry Hovis will cycle from the North Carolina mountains to the coast as part of the state-wide 2023 Cycle North Carolina ride. Every CBFNC congregation is invited to join the mission and the mandate of embracing vulnerable neighbors by giving generously to sponsor Larry’s team and conducting their own Welcome Ride activities. The money raised during Welcome Ride will be used by CBFNC to grow our ability to support and empower congregations across our state to engage in ministries of welcome in their communities.


2 ways to get involved 

1. Make a donation to sponsor Larry’s team.  Give online HERE or mail a check to CBFNC, 2640 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
2. Follow Larry and his Welcome Ride team as they bike from the mountains to the coast on CBFNC’s Facebook and Instagram pages. We will share daily photos, videos and updates along the bike route.
