CBFNC is grateful for the faithful, generous support of our fellowship. Contributions from churches, individuals and other sources enable us to accomplish our mission of “Bringing Baptists of North Carolina together for Christ-centered ministry.”
The 2025-2026 Mission and Ministry Funding Plan (MMFP) was approved on March 28, 2025, during the Annual Gathering. In order to be wise stewards in a challenging financial environment, the 2025-2026 MMFP represents a 9% reduction in spending from the previous year.
While churches supply a significant majority of CBFNC’s income, other sources of income are growing and include individuals, grants, investment earnings, sponsorships and fees.
A major category of the MMFP (30% of non-grant revenue) is partner support. CBFNC is the largest single funder of partners in the entire CBF network.
CBFNC’s administrative costs are low. Staff costs, which are primarily ministry expenses, are much lower, as a percent of the total, than most churches or similar non-profit organizations.
CBFNC practices strict fiscal accountability. The Finance Committee of the Coordinating Council meets monthly to closely monitor receipts and direct spending adjustments when necessary. CBFNC employs an independent accounting firm to perform an annual audit.
