Stephanie Parker is the pastor of children and families at First Baptist Church Clayton, where she has served for five years. Ministry is a second career for Stephanie, who worked in higher education as a speechwriter after completing her undergraduate degree in communication and Master of Arts in public administration at NC State University. Currently, she is in the Master of Arts in Christian ministry program at Campbell University. Stephanie believes in the redemptive, community-building, presence-of-Christrevealing potential of the church. She and her husband of 16 years, Jake, enjoy beach trips, running, and nachos every Friday with their beautiful daughters, Belle (10) and Annie (8).
