Free & Faithful Legacy Society
Anyone who makes or plans to make an estate gift to CBFNC will be included in the Free & Faithful Legacy Society. This giving society honors visionary donors who are ensuring that this community—rooted in cooperation and “free and faithful” Baptist values—continues to respond to God’s call for generations to come. The commitment of our legacy society members strengthens our shared mission and carries it faithfully into the future.
Members of the Free & Faithful Legacy Society will receive:
- The satisfaction of knowing that they have a plan in place to make larger gifts than would be possible during their lifetime.
- Recognition at the Annual Gathering.
- Recognition in the Annual Gathering program book and on CBFNC’s website.
- Personal communication from CBFNC and invitations to special events.
You don’t have to be wealthy to leave a lasting legacy.
A planned gift to CBFNC may done in two ways:
1. Include CBFNC in your will. Making a gift as part or your estate plan allows you to make a larger gift than might be possible in your lifetime and it may lessen the burden of estate taxes on your heirs. A bequest in your will may be made several ways:
-
-
-
- gift a specific dollar amount or asset
- gift a percentage of your estate
- gift the balance of your estate
2. Include CBFNC as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy. Naming CBFNC as a charitable beneficiary of your IRA, Roth IRA, 403(b) or 401(k) maximizes your charitable impact.
