Reflections on Faith: A Look into the Life of the Immigrant is a virtual interview that aims to provide a perspective that deepens our understanding of how contemporary politics affect immigrant and refugee communities, offering opportunities for growth in faith and transformative action. “True education is praxis—reflection and action of people upon the world in order to transform it.” —Paulo Freire.

We are honored to be joined by Bella Ocampo, a J.D. Candidate at Campbell University School of Law and recipient of the Dean’s Excellence and Minnie Deans Lamm Law Scholarships. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill in Economics and Political Science, Bella has been an active leader in organizations such as “Mi Pueblo” and Women in Economics. She also serves as a volunteer advocate for Bread for the World, working to advance policies that address global hunger and poverty alleviation. She is also a member of Iglesia Centro Familiar Cristiano” in Siler City, NC.
