Collegiate & Young Adult Spring Break Mission Immersion to Ecuador
CBFNC is partnering with college students, young adults, faculty/staff of partnering universities and churches across the state of North Carolina for a mission immersion to Ecuador.
Rescate Ecuador is a faith-asset-based community development organization in the Cajabamba region of Ecuador. Over the last two decades, they have partnered with numerous CBF churches on short-term mission immersions and partnerships. Their work focuses on health, education, farming, and social care. Team members will be able to participate in various projects based on skills and interests, including building water filtration systems, volunteering in medical and hygiene clinics, working with children, community development, helping with art projects, and caring for indigenous churches. Groups will fly into Ecuador’s capital Quito, stay in the city of Riobamba, and work in the Cajabamba region.
Since 2007, numerous CBF churches have collaborated with Rescate Ecuador, a faith-based community development organization that focuses on the rural, agricultural, under-resourced, and low-income communities of Ecuador. Participants have the unique opportunity to travel a short distance from home, taking in the beauty of the Andes Mountains while learning from an extraordinary incarnational ministry model. Who is eligible?

The trips will begin during spring break 2024. With several colleges partnering, the trip will most likely span over several weeks, with groups coming and going as their spring break schedule allows.
How much will it cost each participant?
Trip expenses will vary slightly once the flights are booked, though the trip cost should range between $1,300 and $1,400.
