Minister of Music

First Baptist Church in Laurinburg is seeking minister of music.  Responsibilities include: direct choir and prepare them for Sunday morning worship and any special occasion that might arise; help staff prepare the bulletin for Sunday morning, depicting the musical choices made by the minister; help in acquiring a person to have Sunday morning scripture and offering prayer; help plan programs around Christmas and Easter; help with VBS if so desired (not a requirement).  The candidate would need to be flexible as things do not always go as planned to help staff meet deadlines and schedules.  The candidate will also play the piano for Sunday church and other special services; it would be a plus if the candidate could play the organ.
